This biodegradable coffin, made from corrugated and honeycomb cardboard, is based on a unique multi-layer architecture, which gives it exceptional strength while remaining lightweight and environmentally friendly. Intended for burial, it can support a load of up to 240 kg without breaking, an unprecedented performance for a cardboard coffin. The innovation is also based on a hermetic device whose sealing technique is inspired by aeronautics. The use of EPDM gaskets and specific materials guarantees a reliable seal, allowing repatriation in full compliance and with a considerably reduced weight compared to wood. Without nails, screws or glue, the assembly of the coffin is simple, fast and intuitive.
